Spartan Ready?  Running a Spartan Race is challenging & extremely fun, but I must warn you there is a high risk of you enjoying it so much you’ll be a Spartan for life #AROO!! Here are my top tips to make your Spartan adventure as easy & fun as possible:

 1.       Commit to racing as early as possible - you can get the best prices (also drop an ambassador a DM to save a little more) also alongside making a saving by having your race locked in this will also give you accountability plus time frame with a goal to get training and Spartan Ready!

2.       Plan your Training - Spartan have lots of training plans & content available online and if you’re looking for more specific or 1to1 coaching then look for a Spartan SGX Coach and get ready to crush the course.

3.       Join us online - Spartan is all about community and this is something you will ready see this at the events but also we have a big presence online in the Facebook group: UK Spartan Racers or you can follow some of the Elite / AG racers who regularly post about there workouts, OCR Gear and are always happy to answer questions & give advice.

 4.       Spectate/Volunteer at an event - If your keen to get a feel for Spartan but not quite ready to race yet maybe come long and checkout the new exciting 3k race forming part of the Elite Series at South West as a spectator or join an event as a volunteer, both options will give you an great insight into the events & community plus volunteers get some cool swag & a free race.

 5.       Bring the Squad! - Talk your friends into racing or make it the office team building day, running with friends is always fun but don’t worry if your friends aren’t super keen  or the office are more about bowling  ... then you are always welcome to join us in the ambassador wave
